Here are results for this week’s episode of WWE Main Event from tonight’s WWE television tapings in Bridgeport, CT, courtesy of PWTorch and their reader, Zim:

Intercontinental champion Kofi Kingston defeated Alberto Del Rio. Wade Barrett hit the ring after the match, but was met with Trouble In Paradise.

Not an impressive crowd. I would guess 2,000 fans occupying one tier of the arena with literally almost half of that tier blocked off. No Superstars or Saturday Slam tapings this week.

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston pinned Alberto Del Rio with an O’Conner Roll. Pretty big upset in my opinion. Hopefully, this will mean good things for the IC champ. Post match, Barrett ran down to blindside Kofi, but Kofi evaded and hit Trouble in Paradise.

Blah, I’m disappointed with my overall experience. The show ended ten minutes short of 10 and the crowd was pushed out of the arena because they didn’t actually think it was over.
