It was WWE’s first time back to Cedar Rapids in two years. They drew a very good size crowd as well especially considering you didn’t have big name guys like C.M. Punk or John Cena on the show.

Alberto Del Rio beat Dolph Ziggler in a fans choice No DQ match to retain the World Hvt. Championship. Ricardo Rodriguez helped Del Rio get the win. A great match. The crowd was really behind Ziggler the whole way through.

This was my first house show in two years their “new” set up is pretty nice makes the house shows feel bigger for sure. Overall, a pretty fun night most of the out comes were predictable but that’s to be expected for house shows.

Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) defeated Dolph Ziggler to retain the World Heavyweight Title in a No DQ match. Ziggler was way over with the crowd, but they still chanted along with Ricardo’s introduction. Ziggler hit the Zig-Zag, but Ricardo hit Ziggler with the bucket, then dragged ADR over him for the win. Ziggler hit Ricardo with the ZigZag to send the crowd home happy.

Ziggler and Del Rio was a great match. We got to see Ziggler go through a table and the use of a kendo stick used on both men. In the end though after Ziggler hit the Zig Zag, Ricardo hit Ziggler with the bucket and threw Del Rio over Ziggler for the win. Ziggler hung out and shook hands and signed autographs after his match.

Not the greatest house show, but for what it was we made the best of it.
